iLuk builds audience intelligence tools for brands and agencies. We combine AI and behavioral data to simulate audiences, test messages, and predict cultural shifts — helping teams make faster, smarter decisions without relying on slow research cycles.

The Role

You'll join a small, technical team shaping how our AI platform scales. Your work will focus on backend systems, model integrations, and modern data flows — connecting APIs, vector databases, and LLMs in production environments.

You'll have real autonomy to design, ship, and tune what you build. As an early employee, you'll help define engineering culture and influence the technical roadmap.

What You'll Do

  • •Build and maintain backend services using Python or similar languages (FastAPI, Flask, or equivalent).
  • •Integrate AI models, agents, and APIs into production workflows.
  • •Manage data flows between AI pipelines, vector DBs, and the frontend.
  • •Deploy, monitor, and optimize services on AWS or Google Cloud.
  • •Collaborate with Product and Design to iterate and ship fast.
  • •Contribute to a lightweight frontend layer (Next.js or equivalent).
  • •Ensure system performance, observability, and scalability.

Requirements

  • •3+ years of backend or full stack development.
  • •Strong command of Python or similar backend languages (Node.js, Go, etc.).
  • •Experience deploying production systems in AWS or Google Cloud.
  • •Experience connecting frontend and backend layers via modern APIs.
  • •Familiarity with LLMs, embeddings, and vector DB integration.
  • •Track record of taking features from prototype → production.

Big Plus

  • •Experience building or integrating AI-driven products.
  • •Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pinecone, Milvus, or Chroma.
  • •Understanding of agent architectures or orchestration.
  • •Interest in cultural data or creative tech.
